On February 11, three members of LVYP made the early morning drive to Riverside, CA to attend the CNH Kiwanis Mid-Year South. They attended several workshops covering everything from specifics of positions to retaining members and networking among the community. The next day, they helped Circle K International with their District Large Scale Service Project-South.

On Sunday, December 4, LVYP Kiwanians braved the cold to help staff the UNLV water station at the Rock n Roll Marathon. On Saturday, December 3, several members of the LVYP Kiwanis Club helped out Opportunity Village with their annual Great Santa Run. The event ended up having 8,123 Santas and helped Las Vegas take back the record from Liverpool, England. Volunteers helped with volunteer check-in, check-out, and both set-up and clean-up.
